Convicted of Racism

I disagree with Bridget Bardot's stance, but I cannot condone making a crime of speaking one's opinion. She was convicted of inciting racial hatred after declaring that muslims should stun gun animals before slaughtering them. This is her fourth conviction and I'm glad that she is continuing to speak up for what she believes even though she continues to be prosecuted (and persecuted) for her speech. This should be a wake up call to all of us in America. The United States has always had a stronger stance on freedom of speech than the statist, socialist countries of Europe. But keep in mind that many American politicians and political action commitees hold Europe as the ideal model for what they want for THIS country. And they mean it. Never forget that no matter how bizarre or far-off the politician's rhetoric sounds, they stand behind it. From Drudge.
