Nicer Than the Real Thing--But Still Disturbing

Nevermind the nice cello music.. where's the screaming and swearing?

I think that's why I find it slightly more appealing--instead of appalling.

I'll be going through this myself in about 5 months and even with the cello music, it's pretty daunting!

LOL Kim - No matter you'll be in so much pain you won't care what's going on ... only kidding..
I've had three .. last one without any meds at all (not by choice.. I had her so fast it was too late by the time I got to the hospital)..
anyway.. everything will be just fine .. like millions of women before you.

I had my first without pain meds--by choice. What was I thinking? The second was too quick (at least that's what I was told). This one, the doctor is concerned about timing to get to the hospital 20 minutes away. Doesn't sound very reassuring! My husband was a nervous wreck as soon as my contractions were 10 minutes apart. He was sure we would be delivering on the side of the road. We got to the hospital with two hours to spare--apparently that is a close call for obstetrics doctors.
